Sumanth’s latest thriller, Newton’s 3rd Law, is set to make its digital debut following an underwhelming theatrical run. The film, which hit cinemas on July 31, 2026, failed to create the expected impact at the box office despite its intriguing premise and talented cast.
The film is now gearing up for its OTT release, giving audiences another opportunity to discover the thriller from the comfort of their homes. Netflix, the film’s official streaming partner, will premiere Newton’s 3rd Law on August 28, 2026.
The movie is also scheduled to debut on ETV Win a day earlier, on August 27. The Netflix release will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, giving the film a wider reach across multiple-language audiences.
Newton’s 3rd Law revolves around an intriguing storyline and features performances from several experienced actors. While the film’s concept and performances received attention, its execution reportedly worked against it during the theatrical release. The upcoming multilingual OTT premiere could now help the movie reach a much broader audience.
The film stars Sumanth, Jagapathi Babu, Srinivas Avasarala, Neha Pathan, Trinadh Varma, Shelly N Kumar and Ravi Varma, among others.
