Movie Verdict
When Vivek takes over Velonie’s case, the pace quickens and your interest is piqued. In the first three episodes, Vivek failed to find any evidence, which does little to pique your interest in the case. Because the main plot is gradually revealed, the pace of the first few episodes of the show is relatively slow. Regardless, the premise of the series prepared your mind for a voyage.
Even though there are only a handful of episodes with a plot and fans find the investigation process intriguing, the show’s biggest flaw is that it is unclear why the killer committed the crimes. Beginning with the fourth episode, the story becomes more engaging, thereby retaining viewers until the end of the season.
As Vivek, S.J. Suryah always did a better job than Laila, and Nasser, who appeared in fewer episodes but played a larger role in them, gave his best performance. All of the actors gave their all, including Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat, and Kumaran Thangarajan.
Even though Andrew Louis’s series was well-written, it received little attention due to its predictable subject matter. He also authored a suspense novel with a predetermined scenario. To aid the show, the sequences may have been rewritten from scratch.
The technical excellence of Vadhandhi is astounding. The stunning visuals by Saravanan Ramasamy and the evocative music by Simon K. King immerse you in the story and make you feel as though you are actually present. Several scenes in the play worked well with his music, and the rest of the cast performed admirably as well.
Vadhandhi is a classic thriller because it adheres to the rules of the genre while adding a unique spin. If you enjoy suspense films, you may want to watch this one.
