PUBG game banned by Govt of India
A well-known mobile game PUBG is one of 118 mobile apps banned By Govt of India. The Indian Govt Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology has taken this decision as they (mobile Apps) are prune to National Sovereignty, National Security, the integrity of India. Banning Chinese Apps will shield the interests of millions of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision to ban the Chinese Apps has been taken to make sure the safety and security of the nation and its cyberspace.
The Indian Govt has also claimed that it has received more complaints from multiple sources about the abuse of mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for transmitting users’ essential data in an unauthenticated manner to servers situated outside India, which is a major concern that requires immediate actions.
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination under Indian Govt made comprehensive suggestions for banning these apps. There has been a big concern among the public domain regarding Chinese apps. They are seeking the Indian Govt to take stern action against Apps that offend the Indian security as well as the privacy of Indian Citizens.
