Movie Verdict
The first segment of the film is visually engaging because it depicts the daily lives of forest dwellers and how, for the first time, their votes matter to the government. When our hero arrives in Maredumalli, there are disagreements over who will speak with the locals about voting. The beginning of the book is intriguing because it describes the daily activities of the inhabitants.
When our protagonist discovers the truth about our leaders, the plot truly takes off. The second act of the film begins well, but as the climax and conclusion approach, the pace slows. On the other hand, there are portions of the film to which nearly everyone can relate.
Sampath Raj, Raghu Babu, Shritej, Chammak Chandra, and Praveen stand out because they perform well when the spotlight is on them. Anandhi is also talented as an actress, although she does not receive much recognition for it. Even though Allari Naresh performed admirably as himself, the film could have benefited from his dry sense of humor.
Even though AR Mohan’s novel focuses primarily on politics, its depiction of forest dwellers’ daily lives makes it stand out. People were also interested in the premium products he was selling.
Even though the film’s colors weren’t particularly vibrant, cinematographer Raam Reddy did a fantastic job of capturing Itlu Maredumalli’s forest setting. The music composed by Sri Charan Paakala for the film was not very good, but the rest of the cast and crew did an excellent job.
Itlu Maredumalli is a social drama that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
