The much-awaited film Mega158, starring Chiranjeevi and directed by Bobby Kolli, was officially launched today with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The launch event turned into a celebration for Mega fans as Pawan Kalyan attended the event as the chief guest to support his elder brother.
The atmosphere at the event was filled with excitement as Pawan Kalyan sounded the clapboard for the film’s first shot, officially kickstarting the prestigious project. Adding more emotional value to the occasion, Mega brothers, including Naga Babu, formally handed over the script to director Bobby Kolli during the ceremony.
The launch event also saw the presence of young Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan, who has been confirmed to play the role of Chiranjeevi’s daughter in the film. Her casting has already generated curiosity among audiences, considering her impressive performances in recent Malayalam films.
Meanwhile, strong buzz surrounding the rest of the ensemble cast has further increased anticipation for the movie. Popular names like Mohanlal, Priyamani, Anurag Kashyap, and Bandla Ganesh are heavily rumored to be playing key roles in the film. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding these casting speculations.
This ambitious project also marks the official Tollywood debut of KVN Productions, which is reportedly producing the film on a massive budget with high production values.

Popular composer Thaman S has been roped in as the music director, while cinematography will be handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan.
