Toofan Movie Review: Toofan an another sports drama film started streaming on Amazon Prime from 16 July 2022. Starring Farhan Akhtar main role Rakesh Omprakash Mehra directed it. Toofan is next sports drama film from Farhar after “Baagh Milkha Bhag”

Toofan Shooting began in August 2019 and completed by March 2020. Release was delayed only because of Pandemic restrictions. Skipping Theatrical show it started streaming on Amazon Prime.

Story:

Aziz ali(Farhan Akhtar) is local thug who exhorts and collects loan amount in violent means. He things that if He becomes a boxer things take good turn. Ali goes to Prabhu(paresh rawal) to get trained in boxing, Prabhu rejects him because he don’t like muslims as his wife gets killed in bomb blast planted by muslim terrorist. He even rejects taking food delivered by muslim. But later prabhu accepts to train him. Ananya(Mrunal Thakur) is a doctor. The love story starts and Ananya keeps encouraging ali to win. The rest is left to watch.

Verdict:

All The expectations on this film were thrown out. Farhan Akhtar became a good boxer but film made bad. Toofan is not like other Sports movie. While watching, it seems to be that Director didn’t even focused on this film. The story is totally predictive, viewers doen’t feel any new thing. On the Whole this Toofan is just watchable if you have leisure time. Many expected that it this Toofan would create a cyclone in film industry but it didn’t even shook anything.
